SUNDAY NOVEMBER 17 – All collection will end today for SAMARITANS PURSE –. If you wish to give monetarily, please make check payable to the church and designate "Bahamas”. If you have a shoebox and the $9 shipping fee, please leave the boxes in the fellowship hall (basement), or First Church of the Nazarene will be collecting them November 18-25, drop-off time is posted on the bulletin board in the foyer. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 6:00 pm -- Choir Practice
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22 7pm – Ladies mark your calendars!! Our first “Too Blessed to be Stressed” Ladies Fellowship event. We will have a devotion, refreshments, “make a bow” craft time followed up by an ornament exchange. We ask that you bring a refreshment to share with the group. If you wish to make a bow, bring your favorite Fall or Christmas ribbon and leave with a beautiful handmade bow. We will end the evening with an ornament exchange (price of ornament not to exceed $10). Let's plan on a great time of fellowship sharing our blessings with our church family.
SUNDAY DECEMBER 1 - Candlelight Service- more information to come.
SUNDAY DECEMBER 8 - Christmas Dinner following the worship service. The food sign-up sheet is in the foyer.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14 5-10pm – A family evening at Kings Dominion in Richmond, VA includes Christmas lights, shows and fellowship with church family. The cost of the tickets is dependent upon the number in our group - $22 group rate but we need 15 in the group or $26 single day ticket price. We have also secured rental on a 10-passenger van to provide transportation. We will plan on leaving the church around 2pm with a scheduled stop for dinner before we enter the park. If you are interested in getting more information, please see Vanessa so we can try to get a count of those interested.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM is planned 7pm December 22. We would like to have a program that includes adults and children but want to ensure we have interest and participation from our church family. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer for those interested in participating by either singing, reading, speaking/acting or behind the scenes. There are many opportunities including a program director.
